The redirect should have been the other way aroud, to your user page, not from it. And indeed you cannot move a page across namespaces, you have to copy the content for that.
- Yeah, that's why I did it backwards -- the page move feature is broken here -- not just across namespaces, but completely. Here, the edit history is all messed up! Worse, I need an administrator's help to move the page now, even if the page move feature is fixed. -- Toby Bartels 03:16, 20 Feb 2004 (UTC)
As for the language... I don't think Pashto is relative with Farsi (Farsi is indo-european, Pashto... well I don't know, but it never appears on indo-european language lists; so I suppose it belongs to another family). They both use the arabic script however, and possibly share various of the special letters not existing in Arabic.
- I mostly meant that it was like Farsi in being a non-Arabic language written with an Arabic script. But also, I had thought that it was related to Farsi -- and the article on en: says that it belongs to the Iranian family of Indo-European languages, just like Farsi. -- Toby Bartels 03:16, 20 Feb 2004 (UTC)
